Cotton Khunn-Peacock Green With Blue Border
Wash Care Instructions
As all the fabrics we house are handcrafted, there may be an element of misprint or weave. This is the beauty of being made by human hands without machines and should be taken in one’s stride.
-Natural fibres such as cotton, silk & jute inherently do not have the capacity to hold excess colour which is why they bleed for the first few times. Rest assured, colours do not mix nor fade drastically.
- If you have combined two fabrics, please wash both individually in gentle detergent before using it as panels, yokes, pattis, pipings, short bodices etc.
-Please use mild detergents only. Never use hot water for washing.
-Do not dry them in intense sunlight.
- For the couple of times cotton outfits should necessarily be hand-washed separately in cold water, after which you could wash them in 'quick’ or ‘gentle' mode in the washing machine.
-We advice dry cleaning of all silk fabrics, duppattas, stoles and sarees for longer durability.
-Woven fabrics like mangalgiris, ikats, kanchi cottons, self checks, linens etc tend to shrink a bit, we advice dipping them in cold water for 10 minutes before tailoring them. These fabrics shrink only once.
- Dark colours like indigo, blood red, shocking pink and turquoise are bound to lose colour over time, adding to their charm. If you want to combine them or wear these colours with pure white outfits, make sure they have stopped bleeding colour before usage.
